Important Equipment Informaiton
The following equipment has been phased into the program since 2014. Ensure that your player has the proper gloves and helmet to match our team uniform.
Bauer IMS 7.0 or 11.0 Helmets Black W/Red Inserts (IMS Series)
Bauer Vapor X80 or X800 Gloves Black/Red (VAPOR Series)
Players are encouraged to purchase their own. However, we do have a small supply of equipment (previously used by seniors/foreign exchange students) that are now available. If you need gloves or helmets to loan, email coach Stremcha for more information.
Note: Every few years Bauer will upgrade their equipment and no longer manufacture the older models. Players purchasing new gear need to stay within the corresponding series.

While participating in a competitive environment, players will learn the values of commitment, sportsmanship, communication & teamwork. Talent is always beaten by hard work, unless talent works hard. We want our players to have the most positive experience possible; while, providing both mental toughness & life skills.

These are now posted on the RAHA Calendar
- 11/22 @ 7pm - 3nd Annual Media Night Scrimmage & Skate with the Cardinals: Inter team scrimmage drafted by representatives from our local radio and newspaper media to showcase the 16-17 RVHS hockey players. There will also be a skate with the cardinal’s event prior to the scrimmage with an opportunity to have pictures and autographs taken with our players.
- 11/29 @ 7pm - Veterans Appreciation (VS Windom): Fans are encouraged to wear camouflage & witness the ceremonial puck drop from an honored vet.
- 12/3 @ 1pm - Red Out, Mite/Mini Mite Scrimmage, & Pocket Change Challenge (VS Waseca): Fans gear up in as much red as possible in support of the cardinals & witness a mite/mini mite scrimmage between the 1st and 2nd Period. Between the 2nd & 3rd Periods our youth players will be on hand to collect your pocket change! All donations will go towards the new dry land area. Donations will be matched up to $2,000 made possible by a grant through Thrivent Communities - Redwood Area.
- 12/13 @ 7:30pm - Hawaiian Night (VS New Ulm): Fans fill the stands in their favorite Hawaiian gear & Hawaiian Lay's are given to all fans while supplies last.
- 12/15 @ 7:30pm - Stick it to Cancer (VS Marshall): Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the rink in support of breast cancer awareness & local families affected.
- 1/17 @ 7:15pm - Teddy Bear Toss (VS Willmar): Fans are encouraged to toss teddy bears onto the ice after the 1st period for donations to local organizations in need.
- 1/19 @ 7pm - RAHA Night & Mite/Mini Mite Scrimmage (VS Luverne): Youth players are asked to wear their Home Jersey to the game. There will also be a mite/mini mite scrimmage between the 1st & 2nd Period.
- 2/2 @ 7pm - Red Out (VS Hutchinson): Fans gear up in as much red as possible in support of the cardinals
- 2/3 @ 7pm - Education Recognition Night (VS Fairmont): Players will deliver their away jersey on Friday during school to staff who makes a difference in their lives. Honored guests are invited to wear the jersey for the day & are invited to attend recognition during intermission at the game.
- 2/9 @ 7pm - Senior Night (VS Worthington): Recognition of senior players & parents for their involvement in the program over the years.
